About Us
Read Performance is a result of two brothers Neil and Mark Read, having worked together on and off for the last 15 years on specialist vehicles decided to go it alone and direct their skills through their own business.
Mark has been in the motor trade for 16 years, to begin with as a fully qualified main dealer technician before deciding it was time to specialize in the sector he had the most passion for - American and Japanese performance vehicles.
Neil is a master coach builder by trade having spent the last 15 years working for the world reknowned coahbuiler Rod Jolley before moving on to making custom, hand fabricated fuel tanks for British and World Superbike race teams. Watching Neil work a piece of aluminium into a finished product is like watching a piece of art be crafted in front of you.
As well as Mark and Neil we also formed a partnership with Dylan "Jesse" Ferrett, a long time close friend and now our in house engine management, diagnostic, tuning and electronic systems specialist. Dylan has been in the motor trade for over 12 years and excels at producing custom electronic, programming and computing solutions.
Now, with their new, fully equipped workshop they have created a unique garage for anything from a simple service to full race car preparation.
